Sierras de Mahoma

These are some of the stones of the Sierras de Mahoma. This is a range of stone northeast of Sane Jose, Uruguay at about km 125.5 on highway 23.

It is easy to arrive here by car and there is a 20 peso entry fee per person. If youare staying at the Finca Piedra Estancia, they give you a free pass to get in. Finca Piedra also has a horseback (or horse cart) to get there.
