This week (Aug, 16, 2009), the bus fares increased from 15 to 16 pesos. It's still a bargain to get around.

true. Tickets prices have risen, but with the new system, it is still cheaper to travel in metropolitan areas. With a $ 16 ticket, you can take two buses of the same company
