For some this might be a odd title for a photo of people buying fireworks... but Christmas Eve is anything but a quiet day with the family...

About midnight the city (and I guess the rest of the country) explodes with millions of firework displays outside everyone's home...

When the show is over the kids go inside to find their presents!

Little fireworks stands are all over the city. This one was at Av Brasil y 26 de Marzo.
