Tres Cruces is a neighborhood of Montevideo. It is near the downtown area. It is also the place where the main Bus Depot and a sizable shopping mall are located. The large white cross that can be seen in this picture is the precise location where Pope John Paul II gave a mass when he visited Uruguay.
